Christina Williams
Corps de Ballet
Christina Williams is originally from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania and began dancing at the age of 4. She began her training under the direction of Robin Synder-Wiencek at EMC Performing Arts Studio and continued her ballet studies under Ashley Spears with the Susquehanna Youth Ballet. Christina has attended summer programs at CPYB and Pacific Northwest Ballet. At the age of 13, she began attending Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s academic year program under the direction of late founder and artistic director Marcia Dale Weary, along with Darla Hoover, Nicholas Ade, Alan Hineline, as well as Simon Ball. During her time at CPYB, Christina performed leading roles in “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker”, and featured roles in George Balanchine’s “Serenade”, and Alan Hineline’s “Romeo and Juliet”. Christina moved across the country at 17, to train as a Professional Division Student at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, Washington under the guidance of Peter Boal, Denise Bolstad, Abbie Seigel, Dana Hanson, Marjorie Thompson, and Marissa Albee. While at PNB, Christina had the opportunity to perform various roles in “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker”, as well as the second variation in “Divertimento No. 15”. She performed Abby Jayne Deangelos “Home Someday” and Dylan Wald’s “Unprecedented Serenade” in the midst of the 2020 pandemic season and was able to rehearse George Balanchine’s “The Four Temperaments”.
Christina joined BTM as an apprentice in 2023 and was promoted to a Corps De Ballet member in 2024. Since joining BTM, Christina has danced in Ashley Taylor’s “Into the Light”and performed The Gold Fairy in “The Sleeping Beauty”. This is Christina’s 2nd season with the company.
