Trainee Program
The BTM Trainee Program
Our Trainee Program serves as the bridge between the BTM Conservatory of Dance and the Professional Company for dancers post-high school. Focus is placed on preparing the trainee dancer for the daily life and expectations of a professional ballet company, while also refining their technique and performance quality as artists.
Trainees are selected through our annual audition process and make Annapolis their home for this yearlong program.
Tuition
The BTM trainee program is tuition-based. Work-study opportunities are available at the discretion of the Artistic Director and Conservatory Principal.
What does a Trainee schedule look like?
All Trainee classes are held at the Merritt Annex.
Ballet Technique
1:30 PM - 3:15 PM
Pointe/Variations
3:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Contemporary
4:15 PM - 5:00 PM
