Each season, BTM specially curates expressive, artistically rich productions that inspire audiences to take in the beauty of classical dance, rich storytelling, and powerful themes that transcend words. This season is no different. We open October 16–18, 2026, at Maryland Hall with the company premiere of La Sylphide, bringing this iconic Romantic ballet to our stage for the very first time. In December, our beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, returns December 12–20, 2026, now expanded with two additional performances, with festive Sugar Plum Parties held before each Sunday performance. February 19–20, 2027, brings Momentum: A Mixed Bill, a dynamic program highlighting the range and artistry of BTM’s dancers through an exciting collection of works. We close the season April 23–24, 2027, with Coppélia, reimagined with all-new choreography, offering a fresh take on this lighthearted and beloved classic.
In addition to our mainstage season, join us September 19, 2026, for Ballet in the Garden at the Hammond-Harwood House—an intimate outdoor performance set against one of Annapolis’s most beautiful historic backdrops.
