Alexander Collen

Alexander is just loving where ballet has taken him: from small corridors in old buildings to grand international stages and everywhere in between. Alexander began his dance training in Minnesota after sitting outside one too many of his sister's ballet classes and began dancing professionally after his graduation from the University of Minnesota Law School—they still ask him for alumni donations. A competitor at the 22nd Varna IBC, Alexander is privileged to have performed many of the great classical roles, to have worked with renowned choreographers, and is excited by the opportunity to continue to do so in this, his twelfth season with BTM.
