Victoria Walpole

Victoria Walpole, originally from Cecil county Maryland, began her formal ballet training at the age of 11 at Cecil Dance Theater. Along with a variety of dance styles she studied the Vaganova method under the direction of Anya Ivanova-Bojko, there she had the honor of dancing the title role in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs along with lead Arabian and Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. Victoria has attended Dance Conservatory of Maryland's summer intensive and The Maryland Dance Festival where she received a scholarship for Ballet Theatre of Maryland's 5-week summer intensive. Victoria joined BTM as a Trainee in 2020, she was promoted to Apprentice in 2022 and to a Corps de Ballet in 2023. She has since has had the honor of dancing in ballets such as the Sleeping Beauty, Firebird, and The Nutcracker. Victoria is very excited to continue her journey with Ballet Theatre of Maryland for the 2024/2025 season!
