Paul Lytle
Soloist
Paul Lytle is a native of Washington, DC and began his ballet training at the Washington School of Ballet. He continued at the Kirov Academy, through summer intensives at The Rock School, Ballet West and Boston Ballet, and with private instruction by Sona Kharatian. He graduated from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
As a trainee with Ballet Met and the Washington School of Ballet, he has danced classical works such as Coppélia, Giselle, La Bayadère and in contemporary works by Mimmo Miccolis. He also has appeared in mainstage productions with both companies. As a member of the Studio Company of Ballet Arizona, he performed in various Balanchine works including Prodigal Son and La Valse. He also engaged in community outreach throughout the greater Phoenix area, both classical works and neo-classical by Ib Andersen.
Paul has been a guest artist with Festival Ballet Virginia and Centennial State Ballet. This is his first season with Ballet Theatre of Maryland.
