Julia Walden

Julia Walden grew up in Apex, North Carolina where she began dancing at the age of three at Infinity Ballet Conservatory under the direction of Debra Sayles Senchak. Here, Julia trained extensively in ballet and contemporary. She performed many roles such as Cinderella, Princess Florine, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Dew Drop Fairy. Julia attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Carolina Ballet, Richmond Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet. After high school, she spent two seasons completing the trainee program at the Sarasota Ballet where she performed many classical and neoclassical works. Julia then joined Ballet Theatre of Maryland as an apprentice in 2022 and was promoted to corps de ballet in 2023.
