Julia Walden

Julia Walden grew up in Apex, North Carolina where she began dancing at the age of three at Infinity Ballet Conservatory under the direction of Debra Sayles Senchak. Here, Julia trained extensively in ballet and contemporary dance for fifteen years. She performed many roles such as Cinderella, Princess Florine, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Dew Drop Fairy. Julia attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Carolina Ballet, Richmond Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet. She spent two seasons completing the trainee program with the Sarasota Ballet, where she performed many classical and neoclassical works. Julia joined Ballet Theatre of Maryland as an Apprentice in 2022. She was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2023 and to Demi-Soloist in 2024.
