Isaac Martinez
Principal
Isaac Martinez trained at the Hartt School in Connecticut before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his degree in Ballet Pedagogy. During his time there, he received several awards for both his performance and choreographic works. Following graduation, Isaac danced professionally with Ballet Spartanburg for two seasons before joining the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. His repertoire encompasses both classical pieces and original works from various choreographers in diverse styles.
Throughout his career, Isaac has choreographed and collaborated on numerous works, including six premieres for the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. He is also dedicated to teaching at the conservatory, where he continues to create choreography. Isaac is excited to embark on another season with the Ballet Theatre of Maryland.
