Isaac Martinez
Soloist
Isaac Martinez began his training at the Hartt School in Connecticut. He trained rigorously with faculty from Cuban National Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Royal Danish Ballet, Martha Graham Company, and José Limón company. In 2015, Isaac transferred to the University of Oklahoma where he finished his degree in Ballet Pedagogy; following his graduation he worked professionally for two seasons with Ballet Spartanburg in South Carolina before joining BTM. His repertoire includes works from Don Quixote, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Le Corsaire, The Firebird, and original works by choreographers around the world.
Isaac has choreographed many works, including two world premieres and collaborations for the Ballet Theater of Maryland. He shares his love for ballet teaching at the Conservatory and is thrilled to embark on his fourth season with Ballet Theatre of Maryland.
