About Madeleine

Madeleine Pautier, of Lancaster Pennsylvania, began her professional ballet training at age 13 under the direction of Adrienne Thornton Dellas. She continued her studies under Edward Ellison followed by Marianna Lobanova at the Kirov Academy of Ballet. Madeleine spent the 2016-2017 season studying under Elena Kunikova in NYC. Following her time in New York, Madeleine spent a year as a trainee with BalletMet, where she performed in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco and several of BalletMet’s productions. To complement her training, Madeleine attended the Kennedy Center Master Class Series as well as summer intensives at ABT NY, Ellison Ballet, Princess Grace Academy, Danish Ballet Masters, and BalletMet. She joined Ballet Theatre of Maryland in 2018 and was promoted to demi-soloist in 2021. In addition to striving for growth as an artist and athlete, Madeleine is a Degree Candidate at the Harvard University Extension School. When not dancing or studying, she enjoys spending time with her dog, cooking, and hiking.
