Safe Halloween Performance
Join the Ballet Theatre of Maryland in this traditional one-hour, spooky hour long Halloween performance choreographed especially for kids.
There will be a costume contest with prizes for the best, most creative, the scariest, the funniest costumes, to name a few, with a costume parade and a Safe Halloween Party where the audience can mingle with the cast of talented professional dancers of the Ballet Theatre of Maryland as well as young dancers from the Ballet Theatre of Maryland's School of Classical and Contemporary Dance and other area dance schools.
Ballet Theatre of Maryland wishes to thank the following schools and their teachers for the participation of their students in this production: Abigail Francisco’s Classical School of Ballet, Academy Ballet School, Carter School of Dance, Chesapeake Center for Creative Arts, Dashiell School of Dancing, Design in Motion, Francesco Biagini, Maryland Ballet Theatre, South River High School Dance Team, To the Pointe Dance Academy.
Held at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, the October 20th performance promises to provide young children with an excellent opportunity to experience classical dance in a 'kid-friendly' environment at an affordable price. The event starts at 1:00 p.m. with the performance slated for 1:30 p.m.
