ANNAPOLIS, Md. (September 27, 2007) - Experience the dramatic, electrifying
Headless Horseman and other mesmerizing spooky creatures as they leap from
the page to the stage when Merrill Lynch presents Ballet Theatre of Maryland
(BTM), in the LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, based on the famous Washington Irving
tale, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. and October 20 at 7:00 p.m., Maryland Hall for
the Creative Arts in Annapolis.
You will be thrilled by the special effects and by the energetic dancing of
Brom Bones, portrayed by BTM's charismatic Bryan Skates, and his gang of
ruffians. Enjoy the humorous and witty antics of Ichabod Crane, danced by
Brian Walker and Calder Taylor, as they face-off with Brom Bones to win the
hand of the beautiful and flirtatious Katrina Van Tassel, danced by Christi
Bleakly and Kathryn Carlson. And, discover the fate of Ichabod Crane when
he finally meets his nemesis, alone, in the dark and mysterious Sleepy
Hollow Forest: The Headless Horseman, played by himself.

October 20. Costume Contest, prizes, treats, games and a one hour
performance make this event a family favorite, for the low price of $13,
